Vitalhotel Sonneck in Bad Worishofen

Without words - DISASTER The hotel is not even with the category 2 stars. During the entire stay there were new, unacceptable experiences every day. A highlight was the lady who, after I asked for a healthy plate in the evening "menu", said: Can you Speek in English ... (we were in Bavaria?) I would also like to mention the wonderful view I had every morning (for a week) on the table in front of the balcony that was not cleared. I could write an endless amount about this, but prefer to let the attached pictures speak ... ADDENDUM: Dear Vital Team. I am looking forward to receiving feedback after a month now. I would like to see the e-mail in which I was very satisfied. You also forgot to mention that we unfortunately couldn't hold out the week and that we left early after a non-cooperative conversation with your management. Please speak to your staff and let them confirm that there was cause for criticism every day. Be it torn towels or the poor quality of the food - I've never had sour meat. I consider that we did not treat your employees with respect! I am happy to provide you with the sound recording that I made in the restaurant toilet by your staff. The window appears to be next to a break room. It's amazing that they talk so negatively about your employer in the customer contact area ... All in all and your current reaction confirms my 1 star rating and the statement that this hotel has a maximum of 2 star standards. !

Very friendly staff, very good food, extensive spa offer

We were super satisfied! Daily choice between three menus, one vegetarian, one with fish and one with meat. Everything was delicious and also well presented. The rooms were spacious and everything you need was available. The wellness area with pool, jacuzzi, quiet area and co was clean and to our complete satisfaction! We will come back.

Quiet location on the edge of the forest. Wellness area ok Large room with balcony. Clean! Attentive cleaning staff. Attractive breakfast buffet. Reception unmanned from 6 p.m. Half board, evening menu. Table service, serving takes too long, Schmahlhans is sometimes his kitchen master. We recommend overnight / fri. to book.

Beautiful little hotel, clean rooms and facilities. The Allgäu Spa is a dream and the food is excellent. The entire staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Overcrowded weekend hotel right on the edge of the forest. Unfortunately, the reception is only manned until 6 p.m. If you need something afterwards, you have to hope that the restaurant staff knows their way around. The room was nicely and functionally furnished. I found the breakfast buffet extensive, the dishes tasty. The service was very good. On Friday there was a buffet in the evening. The adventure pool is worth a visit. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi was broken when I visited.

Food was okay. Hotel area was nice. Unfortunately, everything in our shower in the bathroom was full of mold (room in the old building). On notice at the reception, the lack was appeased. That was a real shame. It was also not possible to change rooms. Also, when you make your reservation, you probably cannot state that you only want a room in the new building.

I have stayed at this hotel many times. But it has decreased a lot. The menu has been reduced so much that you can only speak of a menu. Not 4 stars for a wellness hotel. During my stay, not even the room was cleaned. The beds weren't made. Glasses etc. Everything was still there from the day before. So by a 4 star hotel I mean better service. There has to be some improvement so that I can come back.

2 stars (although in my opinion at least one too many). But why... General: The hotel is a bit old in many corners. Accordingly, the first impression is a bit "old-school" at first. Affects the clothing of the employees, furnishings, colors, service, etc ... And there was a Prosecco as a welcome. 5cl .... Didn't even know that there were such small glasses .... But good - let's go to the room ..... Room: First of all: The television is smaller than my laptop display ... Everything in it looks just as old as the rest. The furnishings and furniture are also a bit older - you don't get the impression of being in a 4-star hotel ... Beds are okay - two separate mattresses ..... bathroom / shower also old ... shower cubicle a bit damaged and yes .... Restaurant: At a Vitalhotel, I generally expect healthy and fresh food. There was hardly any of it to be found here ... juices from the machine. Frozen side dishes ... And a bottle of water at the table was actually charged at 4.60 euros FOR BREAKFAST! Although there was no water. That borders on insolence. The buffet was with the few choices that were available, not really rich and unfortunately not delicious ...... At the "dinner", on the first evening buffet ... (our table was also occupied, which meant we were in "old" area have taken place). On the second evening the meal was served: there were meatballs with french fries ... There were two other dishes to choose from, but we didn't have a choice ... These "planters" taste much better in the beer garden ..... Breakfast as well ... Hardly any choice - you can't understand the name "Vitalhotel" .......... With the white sausage, which is only available on Sundays, there was no sweet mustard. But after a long search it was finally found. There were also no fresh pretzels ...... In Bavaria that should work better ... Spa / Wellness: The pools are ok even if the impression is also a bit old-school - but okay. Spa area does not work at all ... There is a "speech / chatting / etc." Room right in front of the sauna ... Accordingly, there is nothing there with rest and relaxation ... All the time just people chatting. And that doesn't work at all in an oasis of calm ... The steam bath "Aromastube" was unfortunately anything but "aromatic" ... Hardly any steam and no trace of the aroma ... Rather stale water: - / Conclusion: Price-performance is m.M.n. not given at all. If a hotel here charges over 200 euros a night - then you can expect something ... At least there are numerous hotels that are worlds better in this price range ... For me: Never go there again .... And yes .... Once it happens ........

In the hotel a little outside BadWörrishofen, excellent small Spa with beautiful Sauna environment. Good breakfast, decent dinner, nice rooms, spacious, clean. I slept very well on the mattress. Well-kept garden and beautiful views of the woods and surroundings. I don't really like carpeting in hotels, but it is personal taste

The hotel was a complete disappointment. The reception was friendly. When we arrived at the room, which was furnished very old, we found that the bathrobe had a hole and that there was no minibar in the room. The hotel manual says that you can get a minibar if you want. Disenchantment spread at the front desk. There was no replacement bathrobe present. However, it would be delivered to the room. However, this did not happen. The next day we had to ask for a bathrobe again. There is no minibar, as it is only available in the suites. Note that we are talking about a 4 star hotel here. At dinner we looked at a not too lavish salad buffet. Comparable to a youth hostel. When asked what two different dressings they are and what they contain, the only snippy answer was that you don't know. The lady didn't know anything either. Instead of like in every hotel, I got a set with twice oil and 5 minutes later came a 1.5 liter bottle of balsamic vinegar. I was allowed to season my salad with it. However, there was allegedly no other set in this hotel because another guest also wanted vinegar and oil. So the waitress stood like a press next to me and wanted to take everything back with them. You feel very comfortable there. The main course was Züricher schnitzel. The hotel praises the fact that it uses fresh ingredients. The mushrooms came from the glass and the vegetables from the frozen food. I recognized this because I buy it myself in the same mixture. Here you feel more than ripped off. Breakfast was OK. But not on the level of a 4 star hotel. At first you are only offered a filter coffee and only get a cappuccino when requested. The spa area exceeded everything. The steam grotto stinks of mold, the only shower was rusty and totally calcified. The wall is totally moldy and the bucket that you can use to cool off after the sauna is also full of lime and black mold. The Finnish sauna produced an odor that irritated the eyes and was therefore unusable. From a health point of view, the area would have to be closed. The infrared cabin cannot be operated without instructions. It was nice that a car radio was installed, which was defective. The whirlpool should be 30 degrees. But it felt like it was at most 20. The pool was even colder. So we had no problem that there were only about 7 loungers, as we avoided this area. When you showed the gentleman from the front desk what is wrong you get a nice smile and a confirmation. But nothing was done. The entire staff made a slightly overwhelmed impression. I don't think everyone has learned their job. Conclusion: never again! A lot of money, no performance, no relaxation!

Restaurant is good but unfortunately not as excellent as before. We liked the mix of traditional, local, and modern choices on the menu. The service staff was very kind but new and therefore still learning.

Very nice hotel. We did one of the offered cooking classes there. It was very funny, informative and delicious.

Our Christmas stay at the Vitalhotel Sonneck can only be rated as wonderful. It has everything from check in to check out everything to our complete satisfaction. We highly recommend this hotel.
